Indiana Fever Trim Roster to 12
Rookies Make Final Cut
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever have announced their final 12-player roster for the 2023 season. The team made the announcement on Thursday after several cuts, including three rookies.
Berger, Boston, and Saxton Make the Cut
Grace Berger, Aliyah Boston, and Victaria Saxton are the three rookies who made the final cut. Berger is a point guard from Indiana University, Boston is a center from South Carolina, and Saxton is a forward from Baylor.
All three players were highly touted coming out of college, and they have impressed the Fever coaching staff during preseason.
Team Ready for Season Opener
The Fever have one more preseason game remaining before their season opener on May 19th. The team will play the Chicago Sky on May 7th in Indianapolis.
The Fever are looking to improve on their 12-22 record from last season. The team finished 6th in the Eastern Conference and missed the playoffs.
