Jaylen Brown forced overtime with a 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds remaining in regulation, and the Celtics held on for the win in the extra session.
Jayson Tatum scored 36 points, Jaylen Brown added 23, and Kemba Walker had 18 for the Celtics, who improved to 4-0 in the playoffs this year.
Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers with 26 points and 15 rebounds, while Malcolm Brogdon added 23 points and TJ Warren had 18.
The Celtics took a 3-0 lead in the series and can clinch a sweep with a win in Game 4 on Monday night.
